Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for refund. The total refund will be the full price paid less the following:
- shipping charges incurred to SPS
- 10% restocking fee
You will be responsible for the return shipping charges. In the event of a defective part/product, SPS will send out a replacement part/unit at our expense and issue a RMA for return shipping.
You should expect to receive your refund within 7 days of any returns back to our company. You will need to check with your financial institute to determine when your funds would be available.
If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.
Shipping
We ship to physical addresses located in the continental United States only while the HUGO power supply is equipped with the battery. There are instances that we can ship to PO Boxes, Alaska, Hawaii and other US territories but might ship without the battery due to shipping restrictions. For all non-domestic shipments, please contact our Sales Team at 855.484.6797 ext 1 prior to ordering.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Should there be any additional shipping charges for outside of the Domestic Zone, payment should be submitted to orders@sps-us.net via PayPal referencing order number and shipping method. Shipping charge must be confirmed by SPS sales representative prior to any orders.
Warranty
SafeGuard Power Solutions, LLC. warrants that the HUGO product is free from manufacturers defects in material and workmanship under normal use.
ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER’S LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD:
The original manufacturer's limited warranty period is one (1) year from the date of purchase. An optional extended warranty of three (3) additional years is available for purchase separately, providing a total warranty period of up to four (4) years for the HUGOv2. Proof of purchase is required for any warranty claims.
CONTENTS OF WARRANTY:
SPS shall at its sole discretion to either replace defective parts or replace entire unit free of charge to purchaser. The provisions of this warranty constitute the sole and exclusive remedy available to the purchaser with regard to said defective HUGO products. The defective parts to be replaced shall be made available to SPS upon request.
BATTERY WARRANTY:
HUGOv2 LiFEPO4 battery is warranted for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, neglect, or short-circuiting of the battery. Proof of purchase is required for any warranty claims.
RESTRICTION OF WARRANTY:
This warranty has been given provided that the HUGO product is used under its normal intended use and that due care and compliance with the instructions given by SPS are observed. The obligations of SPS have been restricted to these warranty terms and conditions and the warranty thus does not cover losses incurred as a result of damage to properties or persons.
The warranty does not cover defects which are the result of:
- transportation of the HUGO product after HUGO delivery is made;
- negligence by the user of the HUGO product or failure to observe the instructions given by SPS or proper care;
- circumstances outside the control of SPS, such as theft, fire, accidents or act of vandalism;
- failure to observe the installation of operation instructions, or other failure, when installing, replacing the HUGO product;
- normal wear and tear
PROCEDURE IN CASE OF A DEFECT:
The purchaser shall inform SPS in writing via “Contact Us” form on SPS website (www.safeguardpowersolutions.com) and shall include the following information:
1) the model number and serial number of the product,
2) description of the defects as accurately as possible,
3) date of purchase
Once SPS receives this information, a representative will be reaching out to the purchaser to determine cause of defects and will provide further instructions on return/replacement authorizations.
DISCLAIMER:
SPS will NOT be hold responsible for any losses or damages to appliances connected to HUGO. Should such event happen, purchaser shall contact the appliance’s manufacturer for coverage.

We do not share any information with any 3rd party, period. The only information that will transfer is for processing and shipping your order.
